Meet Bess
Bess graduated from the Vermont Holistic School of Massage with over 750 hours of professional massage training including: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, and Sports Massage. Additionally, she studied Hot Stone, Cupping, and Reflexology.

Bess strives to provide exceptional massage treatment! Each client receives a personalized massage session based on their specific needs, preferences, and wellness goals. Her attention to detail and peaceful location create the custom massage experience that clients return for.
She is committed to life-long learning. Her interest in Myofascial Release Therapy lead her t0 advance her understanding and skills under the highly sought guidance of Dr. John F. Barnes method. 160 hours.
Currently she is expanding her skill-set in two separate health and wellness practitioner training programs. In September 2024 she began a three year graduate program with the Falkner School for Homeopathy. This is a very exciting, and important transition to expand her offerings beyond massage therapy and towards a more integrative health and wellness approach.
In October 2024 she began a certification program in Fluid Isometrics Concept and Block Therapy techniques for bodyworkers with Deanna Hanson, Certified Athletic Therapist, at The Block Therapy Academy. This training informs a repertoire of fascial decompression techniques for clients to self treat fascial restrictions, manage pain, and improve joint mobility.

Background and Interests
A Vermont native. Bess attended the following schools: Mill River Union High School, Hartwick College, Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, Vermont Holistic School of Massage, and over 160 hours of MFR training at John F. Barnes seminars. Her interests include: gardening, painting, yoga, pilates, and hiking. Prior to her massage career she worked as an elementary art teacher. She is currently developing Spoon Mountain Botanicals, a small soap and candle business.
